Dr Chin Yong is a Certified Urogynaecologist based in Melbourne. His clinical research aim towards conservative and surgical management of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. Dr Yong offers minimal access surgery including vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic pelvic floor reconstruction surgery.

Dr Yong completed his primary medical degree from The University of Auckland with further specialisation in Obstetrics & Gynaecology soon after. He subsequently joined the Royal Women’s Hospital Pelvic Floor Unit in 2016 and completed three year subspecialty training in Urogynaecology. His main practice is based at Epworth Freemasons, East Melbourne and recently extended his service to Epworth Geelong and surrounding region.

Some women felt embarrassed to discuss their pelvic floor issues resulting delay in seeking assistance. Dr Yong has a passion for women’s health and wishes to raise people's awareness of pelvic floor issues. He offers individualised and holistic treatment plans to improve quality of life of his patients. Dr Yong frequently collaborates with the multidisciplinary team consisting of pelvic floor physiotherapists, colorectal surgeon and occasionally urologists.
