Tanaka J. Dune, MD, FACOG was most recently a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon (a.k.a. Urogynecologist) in New York City who now works internationally. She is a top pelvic health expert, academician, clinician and surgeon. She mentors and teaches a multitude of different groups of individuals including high school students, undergraduates, medical students and residents and fellows.
- Dr. Dune enjoys seeing women for a variety of pelvic floor disorders including: urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, frequent urinary tract infections, fistulas, complications of vaginal mesh or slings requiring mesh removal, labial hypertrophy, various complex gynaecologic conditions and other similar conditions.
- Dr. Dune offers an abundance of up-to-date treatment solutions including: minimally invasive surgery, office and mini surgical suite procedures, injections, medical and nonmedical management solutions.

- In particular, Dr. Dune has performed extensive research in the urinary microbiome since 2013, and she was presented with an award from the American Urogynecologic Society in 2015 for her work.
- Dr. Dune has been actively involved nationally and internationally in the academic urogynecologic community. She is currently a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, and she is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
